OKO On Road Grade is a tyre protector designed predominantly for the needs of 4x4s, vans, trailers and light commercial vehicles.

Can be used for heavier traditional 4×4 vehicles e.g. Land Rover Defender (with normal manufacturer high-profile tyres) that travel on road as well as off road, subject to the careful observance of speed limits.

Also recommended for caravans, mobile homes, boat trailers, horse boxes, etc.

Cars, SUVs etc with regular tyres must be professionally treated, only after all wheels/tyres have been balanced and tracked. For DIY use with an air compressor, you can use in selected cars (see below for exceptions), only as a temporary puncture repair. We recommend you use the OKO Get-u-Home™ digital compressor/sealant kit.

Due to the inflexible nature of low-profile, high-speed tyres we do not recommend sealant be applied to them as imbalance may be magnified if there is a slight imbalance present before fitting.   Not recommended for use on V, W, Y or Z rated tyres or in Low Profile tyres of 40 profile or less.

If a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is fitted that has a sensor inside the tyre, it may be difficult to fit sealant through the narrow valve stem: or sealant may coat the sensor and give a false reading.  Check compatibility with your manufacturer.  External TPMS systems that monitor the speed of the wheels are completely compatible with tyre sealant.

Formulated to last longer in fast moving hotter on road tyres.  It copes with the additional speed and heat and reduces the temperature inside the tyre.

1.25 litre bottle is ideal for use by individual users of caravans, trailers, horse boxes, heavier traditional 4x4s, vans, etc. as a preventative puncture sealant.

Simple fitting using the valve core remover and filling tube supplied in every bottle cap.

25 litre drum is for use by fleet workshops and garages: it is sold with a NEW heavy-duty, adjustable, high-output, all-aluminium pump that doses 250ml per stroke and pumps against tyre pressure: it is rinsed out after each use and is a one-time purchase.

Benefits

Provides safety and security on the road

Seals punctures with a strong permanent seal, as you drive

Extends the useful life of the tyre

Helps maintain correct tyre pressure

Avoids costly downtime

Treats 4 tyres for less than the cost of one replacement

Characteristics

Aqueous glycol based solution.

Comprises specially treated constituents of the highest grade, environmentally friendly rust inhibitors for anti-corrosion purposes, adhesion agents, gums and preservatives, held in suspension to provide a carefully engineered matrix.

Will NOT adversely affect tyres or rims.  Contains anti-corrosion agents that protect steel and varnished alloy wheels. (NOTE: Chrome-effect finishes are fragile and not suitable for sealants).

Vehicles using OKO On Road grade must have their wheels professionally balanced and remain in balance prior to application.  A running-in period as specified on the label must be observed.  Subject to these important measures, the product should be capable of use up to the legal limits applicable to the vehicle.

Vehicles fitted with TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring systems) must check with their manufacturer whether the system is capable of operating with puncture sealant in the tyre.  TPMS that operates outside the tyre is unaffected by sealant.
